CCR 4

Research

Technology was an important part of creating my film, especially during filming and editing. During production, a camera was used to capture all of the footage for the project. This allowed the training scenes and gym environment to be recorded clearly. In some scenes, lighting devices were also used to improve visibility and create a stronger atmosphere, helping the scenes feel more dramatic and focused.

Editing software was another key technology used in the project. The software allowed the footage to be organized, trimmed, and arranged into the final sequence of the film. Through editing, clips were cut and placed in a specific order to control the pacing of the story. Music was also added during editing to strengthen the emotional impact of the training scenes and make the film more engaging for the audience.

By using both filming equipment and editing software, technology helped transform raw footage into a finished film and played a major role in the overall storytelling process.

Script for presentation

“CCR Question 4 asks: How did you integrate technologies during the project?

My project is titled ‘SWIM,’ and in this presentation I will explain how different technologies were used during both the production and post-production stages to create my final product.”

Slide 2 - Filming Technology

To answer this question, I first integrated technology during the production stage. I used a camera to capture clear training footage, which was important for showing the actions and effort of the subject.

I also used lighting devices to create a stronger atmosphere and improve visibility. This helped enhance the mise-en-scène and made the scenes look more professional, while ensuring important details could be clearly seen by the audience.”

Slide 3 - Editing Technology

I also integrated technology during the post-production stage by using editing software. This helped to organize all of the clips and combine them into a structured final sequence.

The editing software was used to trim and arrange the footage carefully and controlled the pacing of the scenes to improve continuity and keep the audience engaged throughout the film.

Slide 4 - Sound

Another important technology  used was sound. Sound was added, such as music from sources like Epidemic Sound and YouTube, along with Foley effects.

This helped build emotion and made the scenes more impactful, allowing the audience to better connect with the film. And have better audio

Slide 5 - Conclusion

In conclusion, integrating technology improved the overall quality of my project, supported the storytelling, and allowed me to create a complete and polished final product.
